Texas College Work-Study Program
Program PurposeTo provide part-time jobs to eligible students with financial need to enable them to attend college.

Eligibility Requirements- Are Texas residents;
- Show financial need;
- Register for the Selective Service or sign a statement that they are exempt from this requirement; and
- Enroll at least half time
- Not be a recipient of any form of athletic scholarship during the semester(s) he or she is receiving a Texas College Work-Study award; and
- Not be enrolled in a seminary or other program leading to ordination or licensure to preach for a religious sect or to be a member of a religious order.
Public and private, non-profit colleges or universities in Texas may participate in this program.
Award AmountFinancial need.
Application ProcessComplete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The financial aid office at the college or university the student applied to will notify the student if he/she is eligible.
