Welcome to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board student loan programs. The following student loans are for Texas residents and/or students who are eligible to pay in-state tuition.

Since 1965, THECB has funded more than 288,981 students for a total of $1,504,131,081. Because THECB does not sell its loans, all loans are serviced at THECB until they are paid in full.

The best source of information regarding your eligibility for student aid and application deadlines is the financial aid office or the program office at the institution you are attending. You can access links to web sites for many of the Texas colleges and universities at the College for Texans website.
