Dual Medical/Philosophy Degree Waiver (Biomedical Research Scholarship Student Waiver)

Program Purpose

To provide a waiver of nonresident tuition for certain medical students in biomedical sciences who enroll in public institutions in Texas while paying the resident tuition rate.

Texas public institutions of higher education that offer an eligible clinical and biomedical research training program.

Application Process

The process for applying for a tuition waiver varies from college to college. Normally, the office of the registrar processes tuition waivers. However, waivers may also be processed by the admissions office and/or financial aid. The college or university must have proof on file that the students are enrolled in the dual degree program.
